     Alicia Kosack and Kathleen Trahan will be featured in a Renaissance concert at the National Gallery of Art Wednesday, May 19th at 12:10 PM in the West Garden Court. Alicia will be performing on baroque flute and Kathleen will be performing on soprano and alto recorders. Stephen Ackert will be accompanying on harpsichord.  This concert is part of a current exhibition at the National Gallery featuring 17th century Dutch Art entitled Hendrick Averkamp: The Little Ice Age.  Music for the concert will feature composers writing from the middle to late Renaissance. Works for solos, duos and trios will be featured on the program.  Composers include Bull, Byrd, Castello, Cornet, de Macque, Dowland, Frescobaldi, Lully, Luyton, Scheidt, Rossi, and Van Eycke. The concert is free and open
to the public.
